We’re all used to seeing those videos online of celebrities attempting to avoid paparazzi. Sometimes those same celebrities even attack the paparazzi and take away their cameras. What we’re definitely not used to seeing is this same reaction come from a baby. In a hysterical viral video, a baby refuses to be recorded once she spots a camera watching her every move.

In the video, mom Emily put her 7-month-old baby Archer in her crib, expecting her to fall sleep. Instead, the baby sees the new camcorder camera recording her and makes it her mission to put an end to this intrusion of privacy.

At first, Archer doesn’t know she is being recorded. She’s fascinated by the mesh material that surrounds her. She then slowly turns and sees a new object attached to her crib and decides to investigate. Archer’s eyes adorably widen in wonder and excitement as she approached the new find. She touches the camera and begins to play with it, making it fall and stop recording what it’s supposed to – Archer!

Parents Brandon and Emily, who watched the footage with amusement, say that the baby has never done this before.

“Archer must have woken from her nap and noticed the nanny camera before trying to eat it, thankfully it’s wire free so we had nothing to worry about. We have now had to put the camera up higher to keep it out of her reach, as she has since tried to do the same thing again,” said Brandon.

Everyone, even baby Archer needs their privacy.
